About this opportunity:

Position Summary:

The Finance Analyst is an integral member of the Finance Team and is responsible for producing and reviewing the details which make up the Production & Finance reports. The successful candidate must have exceptional analytical and interpersonal skills.  This position is located in Landmark, MB.

A snapshot of some of the exciting things you will do:

Plan, Analyze & Recommend

• Review and analysis of barn work order closes
• Month end reporting
• Budget preparation and analysis
• Monthly inventory reconciliations
• Data entry of daily transactions
• Preparation of premium calculations
• Ensure compliance with Canada Packers reporting processes
• Other Duties as required

Report & Educate

• Provide support to Production Team by highlighting and reviewing significant variances and responding to any of their questions with additional detail as required.

What you will bring:

• Strong Skills on Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) is essential
• General reconciliation experience
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent analytical skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision
• Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Pursuing a degree in administration, Business, or Agri-business
